He spent time in research developing the use of Botulinum toxin in Cerebral Palsy. He is active in research and audit to ensure outcomes are as good as possible, in particular Developmental Dysplasia of Hip, Perthes disease and Slipped upper femoral epiphysis. In addition he is the clinical lead for the Gait analysis laboratory in Musgrave Park Hospital which deals extensively with the effects on function of conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and other neuromuscular conditions.
